What is Pianoteq?
Pianoteq uses a unique and powerful physical model that creates sound in real-time as you play, rather than playing back a set of recorded samples. It responds and interacts exactly like a real acoustic instrument and allows you to adjust sounds in amazing ways — all with minimal memory consumption.
Why use it?
If you use a MIDI controller with plugins, Pianoteq can be an excellent addition to your setup. It offers:
- Extremely realistic piano sound
- Full control over all parameters
- Low CPU usage compared to heavy samples
- Compatible with any MIDI controller
- Multiple piano configurations (grand, upright, electric, etc.)
